Stakeholders Examine Digital Finance Potentials In Emerging Markets

Stakeholders in the financial technology industry would be dissecting issues around digital finance in emerging economies at the forthcoming Africa Financial Technology Congress (AFTC) in Lagos.

The event, which is powered by Africa Brands, Playstation and Paycity is themed: ‘Unlocking the Potential of Digital Finance in Emerging Economies’ and scheduled for August 25, 2023 in Victoria Island, Lagos.

According to the organisers, the platform is created to continually share more insight on the progress of Africa’s fintech revolution as Africa, in the past 15 years, experienced significant development through digital technology growth that is being driven by the Fintech Revolution.

Chief Editorial officer of African Brands, Desmond Esorougwe said: “the Congress will bring together senior representatives from banks, government, investors, FIS, card providers, payment services platforms, Blockchain executives and solutions providers to brainstorm solution to the industry’s key challenges and opportunities, while the AFTC Brands showcase, which is an initiative that seeks to showcase idea products and invention of organisation within the financial technology space will provide organisations with exposure at a premier congress and exhibition devoted to increase Brand visibility.”

Speaking about the award session of the event, he stated that, the awards will be presented to Winners who have made outstanding contributions to the development of Fintech Industry through innovation and invention in Africa.

“The African Brands Media Ltd will provide an exclusive reporting of the Entire Award Winners and showcase their Achievement in a special Edition of Fintech Revolution in Africa 2023 with a view of creating more awareness of these Brands globally,” Esorougwe said.

At the award session, 100 Africa leading Financial Technology Brands that are promoting financial institutions in 2023 will be unveiled in the African Brands Media Ltd. “It will be an opportunity to celebrate Africa’s Fintech Innovators,” he said.
