TD Africa has launched a transformative campaign dubbed ‘Black Friday Every Friday’, a weekly deal designed to break down barriers to tech access for individuals and businesses alike.

For years, high costs, limited supply chains, and seasonal promotions have restricted many African consumers and small businesses from owning essential tech tools. TD Africa’s new campaign directly addresses these structural challenges by creating consistent, weekly access to discounted tech, eliminating the need to wait for annual sales or import-dependent flash deals.

The initiative, which runs every Friday through Sunday at midnight, is available exclusively to registered partners via the TD Super App and offers substantial discounts on a wide range of tech products, from laptops, smartphones, and printers to inks, toners, and consumer electronics.

With this campaign, TD Africa, one of Africa’s foremost technology distribution giants, is not just slashing prices, it is reshaping how technology is accessed, used, and perceived on the continent.

Head of marketing at TD Africa, Fridel Makun, in a press statement, said, “We are not just running a promo. We’re shifting access. ‘Black Friday Every Friday’ is our way of saying that world-class technology should not be seasonal; it should be accessible, affordable, and always within reach. This campaign reflects our deep belief that technology is no longer a luxury; it is a necessity for productivity, education, entertainment, and empowerment. By extending these offers every week, we are creating consistent opportunities for people and businesses across Africa to own the tools they need to thrive in a digital world.”

By harnessing the power of the TD Super App, partners can seamlessly browse, order, and purchase products in real-time, making the process of acquiring technology faster, easier, and more inclusive.

This campaign aligns with TD Africa’s broader mission to democratize technology across Africa, empowering users with the tools they need to thrive in an increasingly digital world. Whether for education, entrepreneurship, remote work, or personal use, the initiative ensures that technology is treated not as a luxury, but as a fundamental part of modern life.

“This campaign reflects our deep belief that technology is no longer a luxury. It is a necessity for productivity, education, entertainment, and empowerment,” Makun added.

By lowering financial barriers and improving availability, TD Africa is enabling small business owners, students, tech enthusiasts, and families to embrace digital tools without breaking the bank. It’s a critical step in closing the digital divide and expanding participation in Africa’s growing tech economy.

‘Black Friday Every Friday’ is also a signal of TD Africa’s leadership in retail innovation, turning what has traditionally been a once-a-year sales frenzy into a weekly opportunity. The shift not only builds customer loyalty but also supports economic activity among its vast network of partners and resellers.

This consistent sales model gives partners the ability to plan purchases, restock inventory more affordably, and offer competitive prices to their own customers—creating a ripple effect of economic benefit that extends far beyond TD Africa itself.
