‘Teachers Commitment, Resilience Secret To Our Success’

The Principal and Head of School of Dowen College Lagos, Dr. Bisi Layiwola has attributed the academic excellence of the school to holistic teaching and a good framework to nurture the young talents of the students.

Layiwola spoke while reacting to the outstanding performance of the school’s recently released 2024 WASSCE results where forty-five percentage of the SS3 Students got A1, 85.2% garnered A1-B3 Grades, 97.4% got A-C6 Grades and the overall pass accounted for 99.7%.

In a press statement, Layiwola said, “The feat of our school, Dowen College is attributed to the holistic teaching and well-rounded nurturing which the school impacts on the learners, the hard work of our dedicated teachers and the resilience and determination of the learners.

“Parents were not left out in the recognition including Overseas-based parents who put across constant calls to monitor their children’s progress on all fronts.
