The newly installed district governor of Rotary International District 9141, Anthony Woghiren, has vowed to foster unity and ensure purposeful collaboration and grow impactful membership in the 2025-2026 Rotary year.
Rotary International District 9141 covers Bayelsa, Delta, Edo and Rivers states with over 100 Rotary and Rotaract Clubs.
Woghiren, who disclosed this in a statement in Port Harcourt yesterday, said under his leadership, the district would make significant contribution to the Rotary Foundation as well as ensure sustainable service across all corners of the district.
The district governor stated that his leadership would be guided by the Rotary International’s presidential message, pointing out that the message inspires all Rotary members to deepen collaboration, amplify service and build bridges across communities, cultures and causes.
“This year, let us bring the magic of Rotary to life by serving with purpose, sharing our stories, and uniting to make a real, lasting impact in our communities,” he said.
