2027: Nupe Community Backs Tinubu, Kwara Speaker

The All Progressives Congress (APC) stakeholders and supporters in Patigi local government area of Kwara State,  have expressed their total support for the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

The stakeholders also  endorsed the speaker of the Kwara State House of Assembly, Engr. Yakubu Danladi-Salihu for the 2027 gubernatorial race.

They announced these decisions at a rally, held at the Low-cost Housing Estate, Patigi.

The event  witnessed  a mammoth crowd of party faithful, professional bodies, women groups and youth groups who declared that Salihu- Danladi  is the most suitable candidate to continue the transformative leadership of Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq.

The leaders of Patigi local government and key stakeholders delivered strong messages of endorsement during the rally.

The Patigi local government chairman, Hon. Ahmed Rufai said:

“For us in Patigi local government, we are sending a strong message like our colleagues from the other local governments. We have critically cross-examined all our aspirants, Hon. Salihu Yakubu Danladi has built people, he has created a path for the younger generation, we believe in his leadership and we have unanimously agreed to endorse him as our preferred aspirant.”

The member representing Patigi  Constituency in the state House of Assembly, Hon. Mohammed Kareem Musa affirmed that Patigi APC is undivided in its loyalty to Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq.

He emphasised their support for the re-election of President Tinubu and the endorsement of  Danladi-Salihu as Governor of Kwara State in 2027.

The commissioner for Water Resources, Hon. Usman Lade said: “We are gathered here to show our support for the reelection of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and endorse Rt.Hon.Engr. Yakubu Danladi-Salihu to emerge as the gubernatorial candidate of the APC in Kwara State. We also affirm that our leader, Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq remains our compass and we are solidly behind him. Our loyalty to the leadership of Governor Abdulrahman in Patigi LG is 100 percent. Engr. Salihu Yakubu Danladi had proven to be a good leader, that’s why we have all agreed to unanimously support him as the next governor of Kwara state.”

Former commissioner, Federal Character Commission, Hon. James Kolo said:

“Patigi local government will deliver over 80% of its votes to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu. and all other APC candidates comes 2027 general elections. Engr. Yakubu Danladi-Salihu is the most suitable to carry on the transformative leadership under Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq.”

The senior special assistant on Youth Engagement, Hon. Peter Tsado said:

“I have no doubt that Patigi will deliver bulk votes to the APC comes 2027. I  appeal for support of the candidacy of Rt.Hon.Engr Yakubu Danladi-Salihu as he’s the most popular of all aspirants.

The Chigari of Patigi Emirate, Alh Othman Sha’aba endorsed the candidacy of Danladi- Salihu,  stating that, “it’s the best time for a Kwara northerner to lead the state.”
