Thompson expressed his concern that these online activists were manufacturing unnecessary statements and events to confuse Nigerians, contributing to confusion in the country.

He noted that various versions of what might have happened to Mohbad were circulating online, and he urged online activists and influencers to stop using Mohbad’s death for clout chasing.

Thompson also criticized those who were calling for a DNA test on the child, stating that such insensitivity should be set aside, and the focus should be on seeking justice for Mohbad.

He emphasized that when Mohbad was alive, he loved his child, and the public should let the police conduct their investigations.

Regarding the recent Candle Night Venue gathering and the subsequent convergence at Lekki Toll Gate, Thompson suggested that those who left the venue to disrupt the event should have been arrested as a lesson.

Bestman Thompson is known for his work in various Nigerian films, including “Least Expected,” “Maimuna,” “Muqabala,” “Glimps,” “Good Citizen,” “Mustapha,” “If I’m President,” “Silent Sound,” “Ifeoma,” “Somara,” and many more.
