Barely six days to the Ondo governorship election, APC State support groups have written a letter to the party’s national chairman, Dr Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, conveying their resolve to work against Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa.

Aiyedatiwa is APC’s standard bearer for the election slated for  November 16, 2024.

The groups under the ageis of  Ondo Patriots  declared their intention to support the governorship candidate of the SDP, Otunba Benson Akingboye, at the polls.

Ondo Patriots said they have begun massive mobilisation for the SDP candidate as the APC national leadership had ignored their complaints.

The letter signed by the coordinator, Dele Oyewo, stated that the leadership in Abuja had taken to be on the side of Aiyedatiwa’s “questionable emergence” at the primaries in April.
