Davido Reacts As President Tinubu Calls His Uncle Governor Adeleke Following Order To EFCC Over Osun Govt Accounts

‎Music star Davido has reacted to a conversation between his uncle, Gov Adeleke and the President, Ahmed Tinubu.

The President had directed the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC to immediately take steps to vacate a court order freezing the bank accounts of the Osun State Government, citing concerns over the timing of the action ahead of the state’s governorship election.

To make peace with Osun Governor, the president had also engaged in a phone conversation with Gov Adeleke on Thursday, informing him about his directive to the EFCC.

‎Confirming it, Davido said he was there live and witnessed history.

‎“I was there live! I witnessed history!!”

‎During a press release, ahead of Osun’s election, Davido, appealed to the Governor of Imo State to ensure a free and fair election.Davido said he has a deep connection to Imo State because of his wife, Chioma, who hails from the state.

‎A few days ago, after Governor Hope’s appointment, the singer said he likes the Governor because he is from his wife’s state; however, they would meet on the field (meaning election day).
