The 156th ECOWAS Youth Ambassador, Emmanuel Agida, has called upon President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to appoint a qualified and capable youth to lead the Ministry of Youth in the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Agida, a former appointee of the APC-led administration of Osun State Government, conveyed this message in an official press release shared with the media. With the aim of ushering in a new era of youth empowerment and development, Nigeria’s Ministry of Youth requires a dynamic, skilled, and seasoned leader.
In line with his stance, Agida went a step further by offering his endorsement for the candidacy of Dayo Israel for the position of Minister of Youth. The statement reads, “It would be remiss of me to advise the President on appointing a competent minister without highlighting a few outstanding leaders within the party. While there are certainly many capable youths in the party, I am particularly inclined to endorse Dayo Israel. My familiarity with Dayo Israel’s endeavors spans five years, but it wasn’t until 2021 that I had the privilege to work closely with him as a member of his CovInspiration virtual program. This program featured distinguished guests such as the Deputy Governor of Lagos, Obafemi Hamzat, and former Nigerian Minister, Sen. Adeleke Mamora, among other notable figures. Prior to this collaboration, I had been an avid viewer of his inspirational talk show, ‘The Dayo Israel Show.'”
The complete statement reads as follows: “Mr. Dayo Israel is exceptionally well-suited for the role of Nigeria’s Minister of Youth. His extensive curriculum vitae serves as a testament to his competence, unwavering dedication, and remarkable accomplishments. Agida also emphasized that Dayo’s impact extends well beyond the international arena.
