The African City of Refugee called during a meeting between Fulani rearing animals and farmers in Saka, part of the Uke and Karshi development area in the Karu Local Government Area of Nasarawa State.
Many people attended the meeting, which took place at Government Secondary School Saka, including the Chairman of Karu Local Government, Muslim and Christian Peace Association, Rev Timothy Tombo.

Also, the director and chairman of the group, Rev Justin Nenge, while enumerating the importance of living in peace by those who live together, said the farmers and herders must love themselves.

The Chief of Saka, Engineer Isiaka Adamu, expressed happiness over the gathering aimed at fostering peace.

In his speech, Rev Bound Bradam called on Fulani herdsmen and farmers to cooperate with Emirs, District Heads, Village Heads, and those in charge of their communities, adding that peace will reign.
