Federal Capital Territory Administration (FCT) has disbursed N4.7 billion to the six area councils and other stakeholders as statutory allocations for November, 2023.
In a statement signed by the special assistant media to the FCT minister of state, Austine Elemue, the amount is a slight decrease compared to the N4.9bn shared in October.
FCT minister of state, Dr. Mariya Mahmoud, who presided over the 184th Joint Account Allocation Committee (JAAC) meeting, applauded stakeholders for their invaluable contributions.
According to the statement, a breakdown of the figures released during the meeting indicated that N2.2bn was made available for disbursement to the six area councils while N2.4billion was made available to other stakeholders.
Disbursements to the six area councils showed that the Abuja Municipal Area Council (AMAC) received N501 million, Gwagwalada got N360.9 million and Kuje received N396.9 million.
Bwari Area Council which received N351 million, Abaji got N309 million while Kwali received N358.9 million.
Disbursements to other stakeholders include; primary school teachers who got N2 billion, 15 percent pension funds took N226.4 million, One percent training fund got N47.2million, 10 percent employers pension contribution got N107.8 million.
