He was speaking during an interactive session with key stakeholders in the sectors of water, energy, environment, and the 3G project coordination to facilitate access to green bonds for financing development projects in Gombe State.

Dr. Adeojo emphasized that Gombe State has fulfilled most of the criteria required to access the Green and Sustainability Bond, as evidenced by the numerous projects outlined for funding.

He assured that if the framework for the actualization of this bond is achieved, Gombe State will be the first subnational entity in Nigeria and Africa to secure a Green and Sustainability Bond.
