A source in the area told LEADERSHIP that the abductors in their numbers invaded the construction site on Monday, forcefully abducting a Chinese national and whisked him away immediately.

It was also gathered that the abductors abandoned their vehicle at the junction of the Radio Kogi Booster station at Otite, just some few meters away from the scene of the kidnap.

The source added that the combined team of the military, police, hunters and vigilante gave the kidnappers a hot chase, forcing them to abandon the Chinese citizen.

“The joint task force are still combing the bushes around the area for possible arrest of the criminals.
