Kun Khalifat FC forward Gabriel Lekan says the team is determined to learn from its errors and improve in the remaining Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) fixtures as they strive to avoid relegation.
The Owerri-based club currently sits at the bottom of the NPFL table with 25 points.
Kun Khalifat FC has recorded six wins, seven draws, and 13 defeats in 26 league matches so far.
Gabriel Lekan stated that the team is focused and mentally strong to overcome their current difficulties.
“I believe the team is focused on relentless efforts, mental strength, and learning from our failures to achieve greatness,” Lekan told Kun Khalifat media.
Kun Khalifat FC’s next league game will be against Niger Tornadoes on Sunday.
