Following Galatasaray’s impressive 3-1 victory over Çaykur Rizespor in the Turkish Super Lig on Saturday, Osimhen expressed his excitement and confidence regarding the club’s prospects in both domestic and European tournaments, including the prestigious UEFA Champions League.

In his post-match interview, the Nigerian international stated, “We need to work hard and fight,” underscoring the need for a collective effort as the season progresses. He elaborated on his belief in the team’s potential, saying, “When I look at the quality of our team and our coach, I believe we will be successful in the Champions League.”

Osimhen’s optimism is backed by his remarkable performance last season, where he found the back of the net 37 times across all competitions during his loan spell at Galatasaray. His experience and skill have undoubtedly contributed to the squad’s confidence as they aim to dominate not only in the league but also in the knockout stages of the Champions League.

As Osimhen concluded his remarks, he outlined the club’s ambitions, declaring, “In the league, the cup, the Champions League… We want to go all the way to the final.” His commitment to the team’s goals and his motivation to inspire his teammates highlight the sense of unity and ambition that characterises this season for Galatasaray. With Osimhen leading the charge, fans are left hopeful for a thrilling campaign ahead.
