PHCN Is Still NEPA!

But why wouldn’t I be angry? You go to other countries and the electricity doesn’t blink. And even if it does, there would have been an announcement to warn people of a maintenance being carried out or whatever the case may be. But here? No. They shut it down unceremoniously and then bring it back the same way as if they are dashing us for free.

People, this is something we pay for monthly and deserve to have everyday for goodness sakes! We should begin to hold our electricity service providers accountable! I must admit that I was excited when NEPA was unbundled to form PHCN.

I still call them NEPA with good reason. Altine would argue that it’s no longer NEPA but is called PHCN (Power Holding Company Of Nigeria) which has furthermore been disbundled. And I would sigh and respond that it’s all still the same.
