The Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), DSP Abubakar Sadiq Aliyu, said the movement of individuals and vehicles will be restricted from 6am to 4pm on election day.

This decision aims to ensure law and order, as well as the safety of voters and election officials during the electoral process.

The Commissioner of Police, CP Allyu Abubakar Musa, urged residents and stakeholders to comply with the restriction in the interest of a peaceful, fair and transparent election.

He assured the public that adequate security measures have been put in place to enforce the restriction and protect voters throughout the election period.
