Of the three virtues; faith, hope and love, the greatest of them is love. Such was again the display of thoughts towards the poor, indigent and hungry in Lagos State from Susan Esisi, CEO of Susan Channel Beauty, Nigeria’s topmost skincare brand.
Over the years, it has been a common practice by the Susan Channel Beauty CEO to extend hands of love towards the less-privileged in Nigeria, as she has consistently maintained that reaching out to the poor is part of her core values as a businesswoman, considering her little beginning.
This time, the beauty entrepreneur, at the time of the year many were making merry, took time out to join her team to hand out food items to the needy in Opebi, Ikeja area of the Lagos three days to Christmas.
The Susan Channel Beauty boss ensured smooth distribution of the items to hundreds of people who thronged the company’s office in the Sate capital, as she put smiles on their faces, in the midst of the economic holocaust in the land, where the cost of living has grown beyond the reach of the common man due to skyrocketing prices.
Susan Esisi, who is from Cross River State and married to Washington Esisi, is blessed with two kids. She also gave cash gifts to the beneficiaries through her Susan Chanel Foundation.
“It shouldn’t come as surprise to anyone who has followed my trajectory way back from my days of humble beginning. Giving to the needy is part and parcel of who I am because that was how I was brought up,” Susan Chanel Beauty founder stated.
“Aside from donations to orphanages and charitable causes, I give cooked food or foodstuff to the needy at least once in two months. That is what I am doing today. I even announced on social media a few days ago,” she added.
The CEO of Susan Chanel Beauty studied Psychology at the University of Lagos, before becoming a cosmetologist. The opening of Ikeja store of Susan Chanel Beauty in January 2018 changed the cosmetic landscape in Nigeria and Africa.
The Susan Chanel Beauty visioner, who is from Efik ethnic group, went on to open other stores in Lekki and Abuja in November of the year. Since then, the brand has become the biggest skincare line in the country, one of the best on the continent and spreading to other parts of the world.
According to Annie Frank, “No one has ever become poor from giving.” The effect of Esisi’s philanthropic gestures has robbed off on Susan Chanel Beauty.
The skincare line offers premium spa services, friendly and tailor-made solutions from products certified by the National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC), with the brand’s CEO known as an advocate of non-use of steroids and other dangerous ingredients in skincare products.
