Youths from various bodies and organisations across the Osisioma Ngwa local government area of Abia State have said the state had never been better than it is now until the emergence of Governor Alex Otti.

The leader of the youths, Chinyere Izuchukwu, stated this during a massive solidarity march organised by the area’s councillors’ body in support of the governor.

Izuchukwu, who said the period dated back to the creation of the state in 1991, reaffirmed their resolve to support the governor in his reelection in 2027 and in his future political ambitions.

He added that the march was a testament to the youths’ solid support for the governor, given his remarkable infrastructure development in the area.

In his remarks, the chairman of the area’s Legislative Council Committee on Youths and chairman of the organising committee of the march, Uzodinma Enegwe, stressed their support for Otti

Similarly, the secretary of the organising committee and councillor representing Amasa Ward, Chidebere Njoku, lauded the youths for the successful conduct of the march.

They said the youths have a great role to play in supporting Otti, as he has shown interest in their development, particularly through the TechRise project, embraced good governance, and built trust in them.

‎Contributing to the march, the coordinator of the Youth Wing of Abia Rise in the area, Maxi Nwogu, said the march gave them the opportunity to redefine their support for the present administration and thanked them all.
