National secretary of the governing All Progressives Congress (APC), Senator Surajudeen Ajibola Basiru, has urged Nigerians to support and ensure that the President Bola Tinubu-led administration succeeds in the arduous task of repositioning the country for economic growth.
He said the citizens’ support is crucial in delivering democratic dividends and in proffering solutions to peculiar problems facing the country,
The former lawmaker who spoke during the breaking of Ramadan fast with the national director-general of APC Professionals Council, Dr. Seyi Bamigbade, said Tinubu means well for Nigerians and is poised towards leaving a lasting legacy despite the challenging economic environment.
He said the era of politics is gone, adding that it is now time for governance to better the lot of all Nigerians, insisting that all hands must be on deck to foster development in the country.
In his response, Bamigbade expressed gratitude to the APC scribe for the support the national leadership of the party has continued to offer the President.
Bamigbade intimated him with some of the activities of the Council, including the Renewed Hope scholarship scheme going on in the 36 states of the country and the FCT.
