The students wrote JAMB exams on Tuesday at Alfurqan International Academy Bauchi, after they received three months of rigorous training on how to write the exams.
Speaking at the end of exams, the coordinator of Shehu Buba Education Endowment Support, Alhaji

Auwal Umar, thanked Allah the Almighty for the opportunity given to the senator to support 364 students from poor families under the endowment.

He promised the students that Senator Shehu Buba would sponsor their education if they pass the examination.

Auwal said the support has nothing to do with politics, because the senator did not know anyone among the beneficiaries. He said feeding, transportation and allowances were given to the students.
Malam Abubakar Sulaiman who spoke on behalf of parents, commended Senator Shehu Buba Umar for sponsoring their children for the 2024 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).

“We are happy that our sons and daughters were sponsored to write JAMB. We are grateful to the Senator for this kind gesture,” he said.

Aliyu Sha’aban, one of the beneficiaries, lauded the senator for supporting the less-privileged. He thanked the senator for supporting and sponsoring their exams, and said they will never forget this kind gesture.
He said, “Senator Buba has shown us that he cares about our education to the extent of paying for our JAMB examination fee and I am among the lucky beneficiaries.”
