Veteran entertainer and social activist Charly Boy has addressed the long-running speculation surrounding his sexuality, saying he is unbothered by the labels people have attached to him over the years.
He took to his social media, “For years, many have questioned my sexuality; some have openly called me gay. If you know, you know. I no send your father”
According to Charly Boy, he has deliberately challenged societal expectations throughout his career and has never felt the need to explain himself to critics.
The media personality said people have often judged him based on his fashion choices, body art and public image rather than taking the time to understand who he truly is.
He stressed that he has always focused on living authentically instead of seeking public approval, adding that criticism has never stopped him from expressing himself freely.
Charly Boy noted that while many have speculated about his personal life, those close to him know the truth, insisting that he has no obligation to validate himself before the public.
The entertainer, who has built a reputation for pushing boundaries and speaking out on social issues, said he remains committed to encouraging Nigerians to embrace individuality without fear of judgment.
His comments have sparked fresh conversations on social media, with many users applauding his confidence, while others revisited the decades-long public fascination with his unconventional persona.
