Eid-el-Kabir: Gov Mohammed Okays N10,000 Wage Award For Workers

The Bauchi State governor, Bala Mohammed, has approved the payment of N10,000 to all categories of civil servants to mitigate the effect of economic hardship during the forthcoming Eid-El-Kabir celebration.
A statement by the office of State Head of Service (HoS), Yahuza Adamu Haruna, yesterday said, In his continued efforts aimed at improving the welfare of the Civil Servants, His Excellency, Senator Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed CON (Kauran Bauchi), the Executive Governor of Bauchi State, has directed the immediate payment of Ten Thousand Naira (N10,000:00) to all categories of Civil Servants in both the State and Local Government Areas, as wage award.“

A statement signed by permanent secretary of establishment Mohammed Sani Umar said the gesture would provide additional resources to civil servants to celebrate Eid-El-Kabir in high spirits despite the generally unpalatable economic situation.
