The cause of the fire incident was yet to be ascertained as at press time but might be as a result of electricity spark.

The Federal Fire Service and Osun State Fire Service had a hectic time putting out the fire after several millions of properties were destroyed.

Commenting on the incident, a Chief Superintendent of Corps, NSCDC, Osun State Command, Abioye Toyin who estimated property gutted by fire at hundreds of millions of naira said early findings revealed that a spark from an electric surge landed on foam and engulfed the two buildings.
