In a bold move towards transforming the transport sector and enhancing the overall infrastructure of Gombe State, the government, under the visionary leadership of Governor Inuwa Yahaya, is on the verge of unveiling a monumental project – the Multi Billion Naira Ultra-Modern Motor Park.

This ambitious project is set to revolutionize the way people travel and engage with transportation services within the state.

One of the primary objectives of this colossal project is to consolidate all motor parks scattered across the Gombe metropolis into one centralized location.

The significance of this endeavor cannot be overstated, as it marks the most substantial movement of satellite motor parks into a single, unified space in the history of Gombe State.

The Ultra-Modern Motor Park is a testament to modern engineering and urban planning, with state-of-the-art facilities that will redefine the travel experience for residents and visitors alike.

Its design is geared towards providing comprehensive interstate coverage, ensuring orderliness, upholding first-rate security measures, and delivering exceptional value for money.

For several years, the existence of unplanned and poorly organized motor parks has not only contributed to traffic congestion but has also posed significant security and revenue optimization challenges for Gombe State.

Governor Inuwa Yahaya’s commitment to addressing these issues is evident in his meticulous inspection of the new facility, which boasts palatial guest rooms, well-structured road networks, offices, shops, spacious parking areas, and even a dedicated police station.

One of the key assurances given by Governor Inuwa Yahaya is the promise of inclusivity and an improved operational experience for satellite motor parks under this new arrangement. This commitment to serving the needs of both commuters and transport operators is an indication of the government’s dedication to enhancing the transport sector.

The Committee for the Relocation of Parks, earlier set up by Governor Inuwa Yahaya has played a vital role in ensuring the seamless transition of motor parks to the Ultra-Modern Motor Park.

For commuters, this Multi Billion Naira Ultra-Modern Motor Park is seen as an “Ark of Safety,” a reliable and secure hub for their travel needs.

Beyond this remarkable motor park project, Governor Inuwa Yahaya’s administration has set its sights on another groundbreaking initiative. After the successful relocation exercise, plans are in motion to establish a Three Arms Zone where the Bauchi Motor Park once stood. This zone will comprise the Judiciary Complex, House of Assembly Complex, and State Secretariat. The aim is to bring together all scattered state government offices, departments, and parastatals into one centralized hub. This visionary move not only positions Gombe State as a city of the future but also sets a national example for efficient governance and urban planning.

This transformative project was initially conceived by the previous administration but was unfortunately abandoned after seven years, with only 35 percent of the work completed. Governor Inuwa Yahaya’s commitment to reviving and completing this initiative demonstrates his unwavering dedication to the progress and development of Gombe State.

The Multi Billion Naira Ultra-Modern Motor Park is poised to become a symbol of Gombe State’s commitment to modernization, efficiency, and security within the transport sector. As it nears its commissioning, this visionary project promises to redefine transportation services and governance not only within the state but also as a shining example for the entire nation.
