Katsina State Governor Umaru Radda has reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to establish three community-driven development centres to run an all-inclusive governance in the state.
The governor disclosed that plans are underway to launch community support centres, community learning centres and community development centres aimed at promoting socio-economic development and local government administration in the state.
He stated this while commenting on his major achievements within the last year in office adding that his administration’s visionary leadership and transformative reforms were paving the way for a brighter future for the people of Katsina State.
He promised to continue prioritising community-driven progress through innovation and collaboration to achieve new heights of prosperity and development.
Governor Radda made a significant milestone in his administration’s commitment to fostering sustainable development through innovative public sector reforms and community-driven initiatives since his assumed office in May last year.
According to a statement issued by his chief press secretary, Ibrahim Kaula, the governor has championed a transparent and inclusive approach to governance, laying the groundwork for a more efficient and effective public service delivery system.
“One of the hallmark achievements of Governor Radda’s administration is the establishment of the Department for Public Sector Administration Reform. The department which reports directly to the governor’s office is tasked with enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of public service delivery across the state,” he said.
