American actor and musician Jared Leto is facing fresh criminal sexual misconduct allegations following a newly released investigative documentary by the British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC).
The documentary, titled Jared Leto: Hollywood’s Dark Secret, features testimonies from 10 women accusing the 54-year-old rock band frontman of inappropriate sexual behaviour, with four alleging criminal sexual conduct that occurred when they were teenagers between 2002 and 2016.
According to the report, one woman alleged that the actor assaulted her in a motel bathroom when she was 17 years old, while another stated she was raped at the same age in California.
A third woman claimed Leto made repeated sexually explicit phone calls to her when she was 16 and subsequently attempted to force her to sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) to prevent her from speaking out.
The documentary also included accounts from former crew members of his band, Thirty Seconds to Mars, who alleged that staff felt uncomfortable with the musician routinely inviting underage girls backstage to his dressing room and private residence.
Reacting to the broadcast, the Oscar winner strongly denied all allegations through his spokesperson, describing the claims as entirely baseless.
“I have never sexually assaulted anyone in my entire life. These claims are absolutely and categorically false,” Leto stated.
The latest revelations follow similar allegations raised against the actor in 2025 by American DJ Allie Teilz and an investigative report by media outlet Air Mail, both of which Leto previously denied.
