Chairman of the National Sports Commission Mallam Dikko has said his decades of experience in football will be a blessing in disguise for other sports to grow in Nigeria.

This NSC boss stated this during an interview with TVC Sports Desk.

While answering questions on whether he will be a chairman for football alone, Dikko said his passion for the growth of Nigerian sports goes beyond football, despite his obvious track records in football over the years.

“Yes, a lot of people know me with football but I have been involved in other sports as I worked as an adviser to many past sports ministers with different proposals on how to fix the sports sector.

“So for me, my experience in football will be a blessing for other sports to thrive and we are ready to use football as a driver to push other sports. It’s all about balancing everything for the growth of Nigerian sports and developing a viable Sports economy”
