The Southern Kaduna Youth Progressives Forum has called on the member representing Jema’a/Sanga Federal Constituency, Daniel Amos, to stop peddling falsehood that Governor Uba Sani instructed traditional rulers not to attend events organised by opposition politicians.
A statement signed by the group’s secretary, Comrade Kazah Dauda, described the allegation as baseless, misleading, and politically motivated, urging the lawmaker to focus on developmental efforts in his constituency.
The statement explained that the lawmaker made the allegation against the governor during his midterm scorecard presentation and distribution of items to party loyalists in Kafanchan, accusing Kaduna State government of interfering with traditional institutions.
The forum however challenged the lawmaker to publish the list of beneficiaries of the federal government’s ₦100 million rice intervention programme “which allocated 2,400 bags of rice to every federal lawmaker to cushion the impact of subsidy removal.”
