WizKid, Dice Ailes Among Stars Living In Banana Island’s Opulence

Musician of royal descent, Dice Ailes, who made a splash in March 2023 , by moving into his luxurious three-bedroom, three-bathroom Banana Island home, with a swimming pool has joined stars like WizKid, P-Square and other notable Nigerians in calling Banana Island home.

Banana Island, an exclusive enclave in the Lagos Lagoon, is renowned as Nigeria’s most prestigious residential address. The gated community is home to a bevy of high-net-worth individuals and celebrities, drawn to its security, privacy, and opulent lifestyle.

Renowned Afrobeat artist Ayo Balogun, also known as Wizkid, owns a mansion in Banana Island. The Okoye twins, Peter and Paul of the P-Square duo, also share a lavish Banana Island residence worth over N850 million. Another famous singer, Davido, once had a luxurious apartment in Banana Island but has since moved to Boudillon and now resides in another luxury condo.

Some of Nigeria’s wealthiest individuals, such as Aliko Dangote (Africa’s wealthiest person), own properties worth a fortune. Dangote’s property in Banana Island is worth over two billion naira, a testament to the size of his immense fortune. Mike Adenuga, the country’s second-richest person and telecommunications mogul, also boasts a luxurious mansion valued at over N1.2 billion naira.

Former President Olusegun Obasanjo’s daughter, Iyabo Obasanjo, also owns a multi-million naira mansion in the exclusive Banana Island community.

Similarly, Tundun Abiola, the sister of Kola Abiola, is a homeowner in this lavish neighbourhood, with her mansion valued at over N750 million. Africa’s wealthiest blogger, Linda Ikeji, is also among the prestigious property owners in Banana Island, boasting a breathtaking residence valued at over N850 million.
