Victor Osimhen’s potential permanent transfer to Galatasaray has encountered another significant hurdle as the Turkish champions have turned down two new proposals put forth by Napoli.

Napoli is insisting that the €75 million release clause be paid in just two instalments. They have stipulated that the first payment should be €40 million, which is to be made immediately, while the second instalment of €35 million is to be paid in May 2026. Additionally, Napoli has requested a 20% sell-on fee from any future transfer of the striker by Galatasaray.

Galatasaray, however, have rejected the terms, proposing instead to split the balance payment into 17.5 Million Euros each and paid in 2026 and 2027.

Renowned transfer expert Fabrizio Romano confirmed that Galatasaray dismissed both proposals advanced by Napoli. His reports were further substantiated by fellow transfer analyst Matteo Moretto, who noted on X: “Still no agreement between Galatasaray and Napoli for Victor Osimhen. The Turkish club has not accepted the latest changes requested by Napoli.”

It is anticipated that negotiations will persist between the two clubs as they seek to reach a consensus that satisfies both parties. With Osimhen’s future hanging in the balance, fans and pundits alike are keenly observing the developments of this high-profile transfer saga.
